I've been eating Indian food for over thirty years. There are many different types of cuisine in India, so you may not be familiar with this exact type of cooking. That being said, I also admit, I have not been to India either, however, I have eaten Indian food in six states in the US, Mexico, Japan (Moti's) and England (many different places).

In my opinion, nothing has ever come close to India House in Santa Fe, NM. I'm a regular (apx. six times per year) and, honestly, it's better each time I've been. I'm reviewing the food only. I've only been to dinner a few times as I prefer the buffet. The restaurant is family owned & operated. Chef KEWAL SINGH DHINDSA is an award winning chef--voted best chef in "San Francisco" three years in a row, when he was living there--and when he gets his hand in the spice mix you're in for a treat! Like I said (I've taken dozens of friends and family over the years and I've had "one" person disagree with me) I've never been disappointed!
