- I am primarily an Adult Individual and Couples psychotherapist. My preferred method of treatment is often Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, however – my decision on treatment orientation is tempered by the individual’s worldview and immediate needs. Sometimes an Existential, Psychodynamic, or Behavioral perspective is more appropriate. I also have many year's experience in Substance Abuse Counseling. Other experiences include Group Therapy, Professional Presentations, and working with a wide diversity of cultures, religious worldviews, sexual orientations, and ethnic groups. I have been a Professor of Psychology at several universities stateside and abroad. I am from the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and have specialized in Multi-Cultural Psychology in my academic research, writings, and consultation.
