On time very personal had all the right equipment , they worked at a steady pace and finished in less time than I imagined. Courteous and smart it was nice to work with real professionals!

Five star rating all the way. I would choose no others company. We had a wonderful experience. The owner John made sure every detail was covered. We were stunned at thee ability of the team. Moving a king size bed up a tiny switch back stairway was a breeze for them. They moved a half cord of wood and still came back for more. I was so thrilled to see a company really do what they promised. Worth every penny.

We had a poor experience with John's Moving Angels. The lone mover was on time, but his partner wasn't, so the mover had to find someone to help. They started 1.5 hours late as a result. The movers were friendly but took frequent breaks and really moved slowly, racking up the amount of time we paid ($90/hour). John jacked the total price up from an estimated $660 to nearly $900 and, after asking him repeatedly for an itemized receipt, never provided one.

I encourage you to find someone else to help you! John will rip you off.

Walked off, argumentative -- I contracted with John's Moving Angels to provide moving services for a period of two hours to go along with a UHaul truck that I rented myself, through UHaul's associated Moving Help site. The movers were John and Doug from John's Moving Angels. They arrived 30 minutes late (they did call and say they would be 15 minutes late). I showed them the items to be moved, maybe a single truck load. Five minutes after they started, they decided to leave. I encouraged them to stay and work for the time I had contracted. They wanted to come back the next day, but I had the truck reserved for one day only, and had already started moving a saltwater fish tank that needed to be finished that day. I got my son to talk to them and he was able to convince them to move three items, two of which were the fish tank and cabinet. My son had to help them move all three items. They worked for half an hour total, then wanted me to give them the payment code for two hours of work. They harassed me, threatened calling the police, argued loudly in the street in front of my new neighbors, etc. I finally gave them the code, but that was a mistake on my part. Now I have little recourse against them. I'm not sure exactly what the real problem was. It could have been that they had another job to go to, or that they felt they weren't up to the job at my site. At any rate, I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING JOHN'S MOVING ANGELS FOR ANY PURPOSE. WORST "PROFESSIONAL" I'VE DEALT WITH IN 20 YEARS.
