They're back, they're back! Gluten free and fabulous, the Revolution Bakery used to be open near Counter Culture and boy did we miss it when it closed. (We heard the owner was ill but she looks fine now.) Newly opened at the Design Center in Santa Fe (near the Cleopatra Cafe), the bakery is pared down from being a cafe to being more of a take-out site. But there are tables for dining right outside. My gluten intolerance worsened over the past five years, so I appreciate this place even more now. All the breads are remarkable. Even the vegan (dairy free) items taste really good. Our Revolution favorites are the breakfast items, chocolate chip cookies, blueberry scones, and all of the breads. Every item from this place tastes better than from any other bakery we know of. We look forward to being able to eat pie crust this holiday season.
