Phillips Industries is a supplier and manufacturer of electrical and air brake interface equipment for the commercial vehicle industry. The company is also a manufacturer and aftermarket parts distributor to several tractor and trailer manufacturers in the United States. Based in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Phillips Industries is QS9000 certified and has facilities throughout the United States and Canada. The company was founded in 1928 by H.W. Phillips as a distributor of automotive and truck components. Through the years, Phillips expanded its operations by manufacturing reflective signal arms, coiled electrical assemblies, wire and cable products and trailer harnesses. In 2002, the company introduced ElectroLink, a product that eliminates truck idling for drivers, and earned a spot on Duty Trucking magazine s Top 50 list of products that debuted that year.
