Nancy and Benita were the kindest ladies. We went over to visit one of their rescued pets. We were welcomed with open arms. After a couple of visits we ended up a adopting two of the dogs. We were listened to and they most helpful. If you felt like they were rude to you maybe you need to look at yourself. You get what you give. Thank you again ladies we are so happy with Skip and Sampson. They made themselves right at home.

I use the Polished Pet for grooming and kennel stays for my dogs. They are kind, compassionate, and caring. And the fact that they are active in animal rescue is an added plus.

love this place!

Obviously the poster above is just a whiner. I've taken my pets here for before and never had a problem. Their prices are competitively low and are the most affordable in north county. On first look, it does appear messy, but not in a neglectful way. The front office is also the grooming business so unless there is a tornado fan in there, expect the smell of wet dog or cat. Get over it. Remember, that smell is the same that lives in your house. Noisy? Yes. Dogs bark. It's a fact of life. Dogs bark, people talk, let's be equal. I love the staff. They make sure that your animals are treated well, far better then humans, in fact. They run a rescue program to find strays homes. And they don't hesitate to put themselves out on a limb when your pet it hurt or sick.

I second Marie! I'll bring my pets here as long as I live in the central coast .

Dirty, disorganized, smelly, and loud are just a few words to describe this “business.” Animals are everywhere and the noise from barking dogs is deafening. The rooms of this converted house smell like that of an animal hoarder. Nothing is labeled, so items are lost when animals are brought in. The billing and customer file system consists of manila folders piled on a disorganized desk. Customer relations are nonexistent; the owner is rude and dishonest and does not offer apologies or acknowledge any wrong-doing when something goes wrong. For $16 per day kenneling – no matter what time you pick up or drop off – this is the worst possible place to bring your pet.
