Sorrow and suffering are an inescapable reality of human existence. We believe that the task we have before us is to find ourselves rather than lose ourselves in that suffering. Suffering can take on a myriad of forms and variations: trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, struggles with sexuality and struggles with emotional and relational closeness. The suffering in the world causes us to become estranged from how precious we are. Until we face our suffering in a way that is brutally honest and endlessly compassionate, we are at risk of gravitating to ineffective solutions such as anxiety, isolation and self-medication, that perpetuate, rather than heal suffering. 

Spirituality is integrated into the therapeutic process as directed by our clients; we do not preach and we do not proselytize. Many of our clients do not self-identify as Christians. They come as seekers, not so much in search of Jesus, but more out of an intuitive desire to receive help from a person who is grounded in what they believe. So for those of you who count themselves among these, we are committed to helping you in any way that we can. And finally, to those of you who are just seeking help and do not wish to include spiritual integration into your therapy, we are here for you as well. 

Located in Santa Monica, Hosanna Christian Counseling offers counseling, therapy and psychotherapy services for individuals, couples and children. Services offered include: Christian counseling, Christian marriage, premarital and couples counseling, Christian individual therapy, Christian child therapy, family therapy, Christian anxiety counseling, Christian depression therapy, Christian addiction and substance abuse treatment and Christian trauma therapy. We also offer Christian counseling services specializing in eating disorders, codependency and divorce/separation. We are trained in a wide variety of interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ISTDP and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
