Provided by YP.comOne afternoon we came to pick up our dog - she wreaked of urine and had dry sticky urine all over her belly, legs, back, and right side. They offered us a free bath and blow dry for the dog. We said thanks but we would be unlikely to use them again.
This weekend my husband and I thought we’d give Rover one more try. A few hours later the owner gave me a call. He noted we were very unhappy last time we were there – I said “yes but I’m guessing that’s not the typical customer experience”. His voice became harsh and he said that last time we were there we cursed at his staff???!! I found that amusing because its an outright lie. He continued to speak in an aggressive manner until I told him this was unproductive, we will not use them and hung up.
Synopsis - the staff are unprofessional, your dog may very well be soiled during the day (even if he/she does get a wipe down before getting returned to you), and there are lots of better places with more space that cost less.

Provided by YP.comPlease never ever take your dogs here! There are so many things wrong with this place that it shouldn't be in operation. First, the way they clean the kennels is just with a spray bottle with bleach, then hose it down with water. Only some of the dogs are taken out of the kennels during cleaning at a time, so all that grimy, dirty water passes through the drains of other kennels with dogs still in them. The staff frequently is hungover, or they are recovering drug addicts, or even homeless. Many of them smoke, so your dog is getting second hand smoke. Next, the owner of the business is the trainer, and on many occasions I have seen him use excessive force and "rough" the dogs up. Yanking their chains so hard their heads hit the ground, making them cringe in fear when ever he approached them. He was violent and angry with the dogs when people were not looking. Don't let the fake smile and promises fool you. Finally, during the time of the Malibu fires, when many dogs were boarded there, another accident happened. One of the dogs was so anxious that over night it chewed the chain-link door to its kennel so badly that it broke many of it's teeth, and there was blood everywhere. Did the staff take it to the vet? No. They just brushed it off and cleaned it up. The list goes on like other posts- the dogs are really lucky to get two walks a day. This information came from about 4 years ago, I'm sorry I didn't say it sooner. Maybe this will save any dogs or cats the trauma of staying there.
