If you are looking for an authentic Japanese sushi place, this is my favorite. You can actually speak to the 'itamae(chef)' in Japanese and order your sushi.



I ask the itamae what is new and fresh, and I usually order some of those. and I've never gone wrong with their recommendations!



Being from Japan, it is comforting to dine at a place that is familiar to me. And if you are curious what it might be to dine at a Japanese sushi place that is very Japanese-y, then I highly recommend this place.

Surprisingly good sushi. At first glance, I thought I was in for another mediocre experience at a dive sushi joint. But this places was actually much better than I could have hoped for. I don't eat Sushi that often because where I live, (central coast), it's hard to find decent sushi but this place I would eat at again.
