AMAZING customer service! Perhaps they've had a change in management, because both the guy at the desk and the manager herself were extremely helpful. After a terrible experience with Butterfly Bike & Kayak rentals (in which the guy straight out lied to me and attempted to charge me more than the published rates), I was ready to forget the whole bike rental thing. We needed a carrier for the baby, and the manager worked with us closely, even allowing us to exchange the first one, because the baby was just a little too small for it. SO pleasant!! The rates were reasonable and well-published. I would definitely rent from here again, if we return to the area for vacation.

I contacted Big Fish by phone a month out before our visit to Seagrove. The person I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and was anticipating a smooth experience with the company (who also owns Donut Hut and Brozinni Pizzeria). When we arrived to our home mid day, our bikes had not been delivered. I left 3 voicemails, an email or two as well as tried to call a few more times and there was no answer. They did finally deliver our three bikes at about 5 pm. I made another phone call just to simply ask if we would be charged for the whole day, This time when I called, a woman (guessing Nicole) answered, and I explained the situation very kindly and just wanted to know if we would be charged for the whole day or not. She immediately started rudely saying that everyone needed to find more patience and yes we would be charged for the whole day. I have never had anyone speak that rudely to me on the phone before. I asked that the bikes be picked up and we not be charged. Interestingly enough, they were at the house within 5 minutes to pick the bikes up. I think some kindness would help here.

Paid cash and they still charged my cc and said they had no record of the cash I gave their delivery guy. Absolute worst customer service, I will NEVER rent from them again. Make sure you check your cc statement for fraudulent charges!
