Ordered a taco salad for $8.99 was asked if I wanted shredded chicken or grilled, as if it were an option so I ordered grilled only to be surprised when they ring you up for a surcharge of $2. They should tell you that it comes with shredded chicken and that the grilled is extra. Their tacos are $2.50 but all the BASIC extras like lettuce tomato cheese and sour cream will cost you $4 on top of the $2.50! The food is sub par to say the least. Will never go back. If I want to pay a fancy price for Mexican food, I'll go to Cantina Laredo in Grand Boulevard....Mi Casita is way too expensive for their atmosphere and menu.

If you're looking for a quick bite to eat, this place is delicious! It's affordable, only $2.50 a taco, and and full of flavor. We ate here on our first night and will probably eat again before we leave town!
