Extremely rude owner / mechanic. Refused to test one of my cars for a BS reason. I was a repeat customer....never again. Read the other reviews, they're right on. After reading the reviews after I was poorly treated as a repeat customer I had my other car retested at another test-only smog shop and lo and behold....it passed much better than it had at cheap smog. Avoid at all costs. There is something up with his machine, his attitude sucks and there are cheaper / better smog shops in Santa Rosa.

I was given their business card by the gal at AAA who processes the DMV work. so I trusted the recommendation.



They charged me more than they originally quoted me--added on some fee.



My car did not pass and at least a few other cars ibn line with me did not pass either.

I TOOK MY CAR HERE BECAUSE IT LOOKED LIKE IT WOULD BE CONVENIENT. I WAITED FOR ABOUT 20MINS (NOT A PROBLEM).WHEN IT CAME TO MY TURN THE MECHANIC (EDMUNDO FERIA) OR OWNER GOT IN AND TRYED TO MOVE THE SEAT BACK AND I TOLD HIM SORRY IT DOESNT GO BACK. HE SAID THEN I CANT DO YOUR TEST, GO AHEAD AND PULL OUT. I THOUGHT HE WAS JOKING. ITS NOT LIKE HE WAS A BIG GUY! I FELT LIKE HE COULD OF DONE MY SMOG TEST.VERY RUDE. MY EXPERIENCE WAS UNPLEASANT AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

Horrible experience, rude staff, car failed. Took it around the corner and the car passed. I told my mechanic about my experience and he said that this guy fails a ton of cars that pass other places. Do not take your vehicle here. Not worth trying to save $10.

I recently went to Cheap Smog test and had a great experience. It was fast, cheap and the employees were very friendly!I would definitely recommend.I know where I am getting my smog done from now on.

When I called Cheap Smog I was quoted a price of $45 for autos, trucks and most RV's. When I drove to

Chdea Smog, there was a girl outside the building with a cell phone, I asked her if she was the person who

quoted me a price and she referred me to the mechanic inside. When I asked what the price would be to

smog my RV he stated $135. I stated that I had just got a quote for $45 on the phone and he stated he

did not have a phone and knew nothing about my quote. I surmise that the girl outside was the person

who was answering the phone for Cheap Smog. Not a happy camper!
