Provided by YP.comGreat food and preparation with super service. They have all kinds of sushi rolls and lunch/dinner items. But the thing that makes it unique is that Gary has an endless supply of top creations which are off the menu. Sit at the Sushi bar -lots of fun.

Provided by YP.comEverything about this restaurant is excellent. The food is exceptional and the people are attentive and friendly. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is great. Gary Chu's is the best chinese food in Sonoma County and I would definately recomend this restaurant to anyone who loves food, especially chinese. Everyone should eat here because I guarantee that you will go back for more.

Provided by YP.comFirst and only visit Oct 2008: Arrived and rude service woman was talking on the phone for several minutes with her back to me and the other 2 customers waiting. Never a greeting or smile. The waitress we had was terrible as well - never checked back with us and was cold and rude.
The wonton soup was bland with no flavor. Saltiest wontons I've ever had. They looked like they were frozen and boiled. I couldn't even eat it. The potstickers were unedible also. They were complete mush and fell apart when I picked them up - overcooked and also appeared to be frozen food that was overcooked. The worst potstickers I've ever had. How to you ruin potstickers? Costco's frozen potstickers are much better than these. We also had the sizzling rice soup and mandarin spareribs. These were decent - nothing great. The only dish I actually enjoyed was the prawns with the hot/spicy peppers. These were crispy and yummy. It was a sweet & sour type sauce with a very light/bland chili pepper taste - not at all hot or spicy, which was perfect for me because I can't handle hot. but if you like hot, you'll probably be disappointed - because these are about the least hot you can possibly make them. All in all, the waitress was rude. Never checked up on us. Took forever to refill our water. I will never return and will tell everyone to forget this place. Go to Kirin Restaurant over on Yulupa near Farmer's Lane and Highway 12. They have the best Chinese food in Sonoma County and the waiters are always nice - family owned business. Also in Novato, at the Day's Inn is China Dragon Restaurant - they have the best salt & pepper spare ribs ever! I brought some in to work and everyone was eating them and wanting more. One girl who never ever eats leftovers was even eating this dish as a leftover. She was shocked at how good it was.

Most of the food we ordered was terrible.
