we hosted my son's 5th birthda...

we hosted my son's 5th birthday party here. the facility is great - lots of fun for both adults and children. supervision was a bit lacking - the attendants were so involved in their conversation that they failed to notice safety issues on the giant slide in front of which they were standing! my mother-in-law had to get their attention and ask them to intervene. some staff is great - friendly, accommodating - others were sullen and downright unfriendly.

there is a policy of not allowing outside food to be brought in - you must buy their mediocre pizza or only bring "dry" foods - such as chips, pretzels, etc. while we bought their pizza for the kids, we wanted food of known quality for the parents - it was a pretty big hassle to get the owner's permission for that despite the fact that we'd complied with their policy for the children. because of the policy and the manager's attitude (which definitely trickles down to the staff), we ended up providing a much more meager luncheon that we would have liked.

but, in terms of fun and games, the place is definitely a hit for children and childish adults!
