The Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks Department is responsible for providing fun community events and maintaining safe and clean parks and facilities in the city. The department offers aerobic, drawing, computer, dance and driving classes for adults above the age of 50. The Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks Department organizes the Camp Wa-Tam that features skits, crafts, games, songs and canoeing. It also conducts a variety of specialty day camps and workshops at various locations throughout Santa Rosa that feature activities, such as rock climbing, martial art and creative arts. The Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks Department additionally organizes sports, such as volleyball, basketball, softball and tennis.
