very nice to see a bookstore still in existence---let alone a great one-- i highly reccomend it if you are in the area--wish they had one in rohnert park

I love coming to this bookstore and just browsing through the many different genres. While it may be a daunting task if you're looking for something specific, if you're in the mood to just wander through a bookstore this is a great choice. They don't really have any popular fiction books, except for a small science fiction section. When I'm looking for those, I usually go to Paperbacks Unlimited. However, if I'm in the mood for some obscure non-fiction, this is the place to be! I like the vibe I get at this bookstore, it makes me think of the romantic idea of a dusty old bookstore nestled in a corner with shelves to the ceiling full of all kinds of tomes. While I generally try to avoid downtown Santa Rosa now, if you're already there it's definitely worth a stop.
