On a Wednesday I ordered a simple rectangle of ¼ inch glass from Pacifica Glass in Santee. I was told it would be Monday before the “glass would come in.” I was understandably surprised that it would take five days to get a simple piece of glass and I made it very clear to them I had to have it Monday to meet the promises I had made to my client. On Monday I called and I was told the glass would not be ready until Tuesday. When I reminded the saleswoman of her promise, she replied “I said the glass would come in on Monday, I didn’t it say would be ready.” Obviously this disingenuous lie was a trained, practice of this dishonest business. On Tuesday the woman called me and said, “Your glass is ready but there is a small scratch on one side!!” They knew this glass was for a very expensive table and that I would refuse the glass. One of two possible things happened: either they scratched the glass (incompetence) or this was another lie because after a WEEK, my glass was still not in. No apologies, just an arrogant attitude from a well-practiced woman who couldn’t care less about its customers, like Pacifica Glass itself. I went to another glass supplier and ordered the same glass. Without being asked, they had it the next day.

I know a business that runs on a pattern of institutional lies when I see one. I suspect you will get the same treatment from any Pacifica Glass store, not just the Santee branch, which, by the way, is the main branch. Disgraceful!

I was pleased to see a glass company move into my neighborhood! I was in need of a bathroom mirror and some shelves, I went into the store and the employees were very helpful and polite, I ended up purchasing a shower enclosure as well as the items I went for. When the tecnician came to install my new shower he was clean, quitet, and focused. I was extremely pleased with the finish product and would absolutely recommend Pacifica Glass Co to anyone looking for glass services!
