Intimate atmosphere, family run business, Thai ambiance, and a broad selection with unique Thai flavorings hailing from the cook's home of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand all serve to make this an unexpected travel treat. Thai friendliness and informality come with an amusing cultural contention of Thai mom and American kids. We were surprised with a dessert, a real treat, of Thai custard topped with a cookie and special sauce. Service was relatively rapid, but amuse yourself while waiting by learning some Thai from home-made wall posters (to practice on staff) or reviewing travel brochures of the various Thai regions.
