Best garage to go to in town. As a young woman from out of town I asked them if they could check out my car and make sure my breaks, tie rods, etc weren't in too bad of condition to take a drive down to syracuse and they took me in right away. They did a full inspection to make sure my car was safe enough to drive and told me that eventually my ball joints would have to be replaced but they could have easily taken advantage of my naïvety and told me I needed them replaced now by them instead of later by someone else. They were very thorough and honest and insisted on not charging me for the quick inspection. I would highly recommend these guys.

Don't be fooled by the "look" of the shop. These guys are excellent automotive service men and they do not bill you for unnecessary auto parts. I dropped my car off with no brakes whatsoever and not sure what the problem was it was done the next day and it only cost me 116 dollars. For that price they had to replace an entire rear brake line, the fittings, a bleeder and bleed all of my brake lines. They could have told me I need a new master cylinder, etc. and how would I have know the difference. Great shop, very courteous, took my card over the phone for payment. I highly recommend that you have them service your car if you are in or near Saranac Lake. Good, honest, trustworthy shops that are reasonable with charges are nearly impossible to find.

You will be hard pressed to find a better mechanic than Tim Heath. He does the job right the first time, at a fair price and has your vehicle ready at the time he told you it would be ready. Tim is also the kind of mechanic that cannot refuse to help someone that stops in without an appointment.
