Saranac Lake High School was founded in 1968 and serves more than 600 students in grades nine through 12. It is operated by the Saranac Lake Central School District and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities. The high school s academic curriculum includes art, business and computer science, English, foreign languages, health and physical education, mathematics, music, science, social studies and technology education. It provides a wide variety of athletic activities, such as lacrosse, soccer, basketball, volleyball, volleyball and cross country. The school s library has a large online database and offers various reading and reference materials, including books, journals, magazines and newspapers.
