THIS STORE IS SO EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!!!!! WE HAD QUESTIONS ON A NEW SALT WATER TANK, THE MANAGER COULD HAVE SOLD US AN ITEM THAT WE DIDN'T NEED BUT HE WAS TOTALLY HONEST!!!! Prices for some of the items can be a tad bit high, BUT for Coral, Rock, Water, Fish ~ both Salt Water and Fresh Water and Food ~ the prices are EXCELLENT!!! PLEASE KEEP THE PRICES AT WHAT THEY ARE!! OH they also do Store Credit when you bring in fish that have grown to BIG for the tank they have been in!!!!

When times are TOUGH like they are today, it really helps to be able to not have to STORE SHOP!! There are SEVERAL other Pet Stores within a 10 mile radius, but Animal Crackers is the closes. To feel like your #1 when you walk in the store and to get HONEST advice ~ THEN to pay a decent price ~ need I say more?????

We had placed a $45 deposit on a specific baby cockatiel. We did not wish to take it home until it was fully weaned. We had just visited on Friday and were told the bird should be ready to go home after the weekend. My wife called the store on Monday and spoke with the breeder. The breeder could not locate the bird and was told by a store employee that the bird had been sold to someone else over the weekend.



There had also been a discrepancy with the price. The price posted was $79.95, yet the manager insisted the price was $90.00. The price rung up on the invoice was $99.00.



Upon requesting the return of the deposit, the cashier had to get authorization from the manager. The manager never came out to apologize for the mistake and never offered any conciliation.



Poor procedures, poor customer relations, and poor management.



We have two large dogs and five birds. We will not be patronizing this pet store again.

Excellent staff who are also VERY knowledgeable of all the pets they sell. Staff is also Friendly and extremely HELPFUL.



Prices that CAN NOT be beat anywhere in the Sarasota area!!!!



CLEAN STORE, SOMETHING YOU DON'T FIND VERY OFTEN IN THE PET RETAIL MARKET!!!!!!!



ANY ONE WITH A PET BIRD - YOU CAN BUY YOU FOOD - WHETHER IT BE PELLET OR SEED, BY THE POUND AND THE UNIT PRICE IS FANTASTIC!!! PLUS IT IS ALL FRESH - NO MOTHS!!!!!!!!!
