Owner Mark Hughes and Terry Crews have been in the lawn and pest control business for a combined 35 plus years in Sarasota. Our mission is to help you enjoy your home. He and his father started their first business, Hughes Exterminating, in Sarasota in 1979. Hughes handled all aspects of pest control - household, commercial, termites. In 1991, shortly before the sale of Hughes, Mark branched out to concentrate solely on lawn and plant work. Turfmaster has grown to 16 routes and 26 employees. In August of 1995, Terry Crews came on board as Mark's partner to start Turfmaster Home & Lawn Services, which handles the interior pest control side of the business. Terry brought years of knowledge in the pest control industry having worked with Mark and his father at Hughes Exterminating. Terry's business has grown to 4 routes and 8 employees
