i had bought a 2 h.p. barnes sub pump from the north port branch,after about 10 months it started getting clogged with toilet paper that it's suppose to chew up with no problem.well, i was told that it was still under warranty to bring it in and it would be sent back to integrity in mulberry ,Florida. after about a 2 days ,the manager of the branch calls and says that a rep from the company that there bought from was coming down.well this guy come to the job to look at the control box that i had just put in about a month before this started happening with the pump,thinking it was hooked up wrong,he took a look ,found out that it was hooked up the correct way .the right voltage,the right amps.then he said it had to be in the pump and would have an r.g.a. wrote to have it sent to there shop to take it apart and see what;s wrong . after about 5 days the manager calls me back and says that the salesman from twc and the rep from integrity where on there way to the job with the pump i asked her what was wrong with the pump and she couldn't tell me and just said i don't know& knowing that the pump never left her branch.when i get to my job the 2 where already there .when i asked if the pump was tested ,the integrity rep said no that he was going to test it there at my job .so i put the pump back in and hooked power to it and sure enough the pump stopped working when toilet paper contacted the cut blades.instead of sending this pump to see what was really wrong with it ,he gave me some b.s. story about the contactors being fried and i could either have it fixed or buy a new one .these pumps cost $1.243.43 dollars,and the warranty wasn't up yet.why would i buy another when they didn't honor the first one.i have bought 5 of these pumps this is the only one that messed up.the others work great ,but thats alot of money to spend again, only after 10 months ,when these pumps are suppose to last 10 years.what do you think?
