Founded in 1981, the Finance Committee of Saratoga City, previously known as the Finance Advisory Committee and the Finance Commission, advises the city council on financial matters. The committee consists of two council members who each serve one year terms of office. In order to promote the vision for the city of Saratoga, the Finance Committee of Saratoga City reviews financial matters with the city's finance director in preparation for the city council meetings.
