I was sent to the BHU in Glens Falls Hospital when I received a call from Laurie Ellis, NP that is located at this place of business telling me she could not take me on anymore. I don't know what she was told but, I do know she doesn't take on individuals who try to commit suicide. Without finding out the truth from and realizing there may have been miscommunication she decided not to keep me as her patient. and I would like it represented that I DID NOT try to commit suicide. I was frustrated and angry with another individual at the time and I wanted to get his attention to stop. If all employees are like this through the company I wonder if I should find another that cares about the patient and is willing to find out what happened by asking the patient what, why, etc before just leaving them high and dry scrambling to find someone else at last notice.
