Worst motel experience of my life. No heat when I checked in. No wastebasket. Soap flakes still in the shower from the previous guest. A filthy non-functioning air conditioner, paint chipping from all surfaces, wallpaper curling at the corners, duct tape patching up holes in the walls and covering non-functioning electrical sockets, and the best part? No running water in the shower, which I unfortunately only discovered the next morning at 6am. When I asked for heat, they jacked it up to sauna-level temperatures. It's as if this proprietor is just there to trap unwitting parents visiting their kid at the nearby college, and takes great pride in ripping people off. A real shithole. Sort of like a crackhouse but with parking. When I called later to complain, the woman said I should have checked the room. For what? Running water? Heat? To ascertain that the walls still had paint on them? Then she just hung up on me. Do not, under any circumstances, book a room here. I almost wish I had just slept in my car. Horrible. p.s. this was a weekday. I observed maybe one other guest. The place has over a dozen rooms. So I have to assume that this was their best room. AVOID!
