James & Sons Tobacconists has been serving Saratoga Springs for more than a decade. The shop is in a historic 1866 building that was originally a bank and the vaults now contain cigar lockers. The selection is great, with all of the most sought-after brands as well as the standards. The dark wood, stuffed leather chairs, and decor are reminiscent of exclusive gentlemen's clubs of yesteryear. In addition to the welcoming lounge in the front of the store and several window seats, all overlooking bustling sidewalks, James & Sons has three plush private smoking lounges for dues-paying members. Two of these have 24 hour access for members, including the English lounge overlooking historic Broadway and the Cuban room, which transports smokers to the home of fine Habana smokes. Lastly, the tobacconists and customers are a friendly crowd. James & Sons is easily the finest cigar community in Saratoga Springs and hard to beat anywhere in upstate New York.
