Clearly, Dr. Reynolds and Dr. Gullapalli are world class retina specialists. It is astounding that a regional outstate medical market can retain specialists of their exceptional caliber and whole hearted dedication. As a high risk retina patient, I am frequently on my knees praising God that He has blessed me with access to their level of acumen, genuine patient care and devotion. Critics of the perceived long wait to be seen during appointments, may benefit from being enlightened by the fact that there is a serious shortage of retina specialists in the United States. This coupled with the fact that the rapidly aging Baby Boomers (approx. 70% of the population) are decending on an already over-burdened health care system creates the perfect storm of long waiting periods. So of course there is inevitably a long wait; but it is in no way the fault of the Central MN Retina Specialists Clinic. They are simply seeking to meet the demands of providing outstanding retina healthcare to as many patients as possible. It is their wholly dedicated mission. So rather than grumbling about the wait, personally I prefer to use the waiting room time to offer a prayer of gratitude for being blessed with access to such amazing retina health care from these exceptional providers.
