I am very impressed with this office. Being a health care professional, I am extremely particular who I see for my health care. His staff is caring and conscientious. He is compassionate and empathetic. What I really like about him is that he explains what and why regarding his methods of treatment. He is the reason why I have, by far, the best Oncologist-Dr. Lisa Duhaime-in the area. Thank you for this. He knows his patients and treats them with respect.

I wanted to put in a review here because of a few that were already here are absurd. This morning I was looking up this office phone number to make an appt and saw this YP rating, so I clicked it to read their reviews and had to laugh at the "Don't go here if you want to live" and "rude" reviews. It bothered me so much, I decided to write my first review.. lucky me!



So- Ireland family practice has been treating my family for over 20 years. I think its closer to 30 but we will just say a really long time. They treat my mother, father, wife, and now our 5 yr old daughter. I usually see Meadows (their PA) or Mark Ireland. I have also seen Brian Ireland recently, so, I have seen them all.



I have never felt like they were using me as a copay. People have to realize that they are primary care physicians which means they are not orthopedic surgeons, cancer doctors, or any other highly specialized form of medicine. You see a primary care doctor for just that- primary care. They evaluate you, and try to resolve the issue first before sending you to a specialist if they are not successful. Most of the time, they get it done in-house. I have a long history with sinus infections so I go ant get antibiotics there- and I am better. Imagine that! When I burned my hand and went to the ER one night, I saw them the next day and they took over my care and saw the wound through completion of healing. Fixed again! When I busted my head open, they put stitches in me and saw that through as well. Primary care!



I have been referred to a specialist several times there as well. Twice to orthopedics and once to an ENT. Both were appropriate for the conditions that were present. I had surgery twice which was not something an primary care physician does. So, I think people need to understand how primary care works a bit more before thinking they can show up to a PC doctor and have them fix anything that is wrong.



I can also say that I have seen several other doctors over the years when traveling and never had as good of an experience as at Ireland, My wife used to complain all the time that she could never get an apt at her doctor when we met. She switched to Ireland and gets appts same day 90% of the time, This morning I had an appt to follow up on my back and our 5 yr old woke up sick too (fun day). I called Ireland and they moved my time so that my daughter could also be seen with me. Who does that? I can tell you that you wont find anyone else around here that does.



So, are they prefect? Probably not. Nobody is perfect. But I can tell you that over an almost 30 year experience with them, we are very happy with the care we receive there. All too often people come on here to complain about some poor experience they had somewhere. I think more people need to talk about the good ones too. These people wouldn't be in business still if "herman munster" ran the place.

overall, Dr Brian Ireland is a good doctor. he listens to his patients and all of my experience has been that he really does care. some of the front desk staff could be nicer though.

I was going to another Dr. that I would have to wait in the office to be seen sometimes up to 3 hours. He was never on time and always made me late for whatever I had planned for that day.

I since moved over to Ireland Family Practice and see Dr. Meadows. He never leaves me sitting in the waiting room for more that 20 minutes and is always very nice and never makes me feel like he doesn't care.

I was recommended to him by one of his patients and have recommended him to several others.

I went there for neck x-rays and bad inflammation and swelling. The doctor gave me nothing but some kind of electrolysis via ultrasound and popped my back. wrote no prescription for the acute and severe inflammation, just referred me to a specialist. So, I ended up paying twice for the same exact visit, as I came back three days later after nothing had changed and no relief of any kind. This man is friendly in person but obviously doesn't give the slightest thought or empathy towards patients. Go somewhere where you are treated like a person, not a copay.

My wife was a patient here up until last month and i have to say they have the rudest staff. there is a huge goon of a woman who will greet you as if you were being admitted to Stark for a long sentence. I asked her for the time and was made to feel like i had asked to borrow $500. so go ahead and go there if you like that kind of treatment or if you want to see Herman Muntster at the front desk.

This place is a scam!!!! we went for back pain and were made to come back 4 times before the x-rays were do each time getting charged money even though he did nothing but ask how i was. then was glad to schedule more appointments before the x-rays came back. this man is committing insurance fraud daily and will be contacted by the medical board. use him at your own risk this man is distracted by shiny objects.
