Everyone is super friendly. You are instantly greeted with smiles. The food is filling and delicious. It's a very homey atmosphere. They are so nice there that the waitress noticed we have a dog and offered to give us a few charred and broken pieces of bacon for him. That instantly won us over.

Great food if u can get any..we waited 2 hours for all u can eat chicken and got one plate.... then after asking to see the owner due to we should have not been charged for all u can eat price when only had 1 plate due to they ran out of food he threaten to call the law in front of our kids no less...i will NEVER eat there again!

Wendell's is on Hwy 75 not 75 Alt. 75 is the main rd from Cleveland to Helen. Wendells is at Carolina Springs about halfway between Cleveland GA and Helen GA on the right as you go towards Helen. We have eaten there often over the yrs and really enjoy it.



Wendell's is a White County Tradition. Country cooking. Breakfast till 3 PM. Great big "cat head" Biscuits. Good food, good prices, friendly people. Informal atmosphere. Fireplace. At this point open W-Sun early breakfast till 3. Ifr you like good food and a nice place you'll like Wendell's.
