The Seniors Friend IS Brenda! I own and operate the company so it will always be me that shows up at each visit. I'm a certified Class C Paraprofessional Home Care Aide through the Minnesota Department of Health. In order to renew my license each year, I take workshops pertaining to current elder causes and issues on an ongoing basis. I'm insured and have passed a background check. I am respectful, considerate, polite and patient. I get to know each client personally and will create a customized plan including preparing favorite foods and making their beds exactly how they like them. I love to cook and will prepare a hot lunch with enough leftovers for an evening meal. I use the 1950 edition of Betty Crockers Picture Cook Book. My specialties include but are not limited to: meatloaf, stuffed peppers, fish and Salisbury steaks. I am able to multi-task and utilize every minute of time while I am in the home. I offer thorough and dignified bathing assistance as well as footsoaks and nail trims (non-diabetic only). Knowing that many home care agencies have a three hour minimum, I can accommodate those who may only need one hour of help with bathing. I am based in Prior Lake and travel to the surrounding suburbs of Scott, Dakota, LeSuer and SW Hennipen County.
