My daughter got married at Savannah Botanical Gardens in March 2013. When you rent the gardens, you also get use of the farmhouse. Upstairs has the bride and groom rooms. There is also a full kitchen, which we used because we did the reception ourselves. We found SBG to be a beautiful location for our wedding. The pictures are amazing, especially the ones by the pond area. The only downside to the location was that it is right off Eisenhower and there was some traffic noise. To me, this was preferable to getting married in one of the squares in Savannah and have tourists walking by. (No tourists are allowed on site at SBG once your wedding begins)



Betty runs the gardens, and she is an absolute gem. She is full of tips and advice, easy to work with, accommodating, and, basically, just a sweet person. She is not a wedding coordinator, and doesn’t get involved in the details of the wedding (she just provides the venue) but when I had a question about any part of the wedding or reception, she always had an answer.



I would highly recommend SBG to anyone looking for a location for their wedding.
