I love this church. Granted, its not a fast place to get to know people but I think once I settle in and initiate (as I'm very good at) with women's studies etc it would be very beneficial. If you're looking for a church to hold your hand though, I can agree with the other reviewers.

I want to lead, and I want to be a part of something that can go far, touching many lives. There's always a consequence to being the "cool church," but their messages are definitely in line with the word, and are also convicting, and touching. This church, like every other church, has potential to stray from its intent, but right now its the kind of church I'd like to call home. Its a place for new believers or people who want to explore the faith to feel comfortable and not judged.

Ive been attending Savannah Christian for almost 5 years now. I have never known of a church that was more passionate about loving people and ministering to the needs of those of us who attend. Even before I became a member the church was there for me thru the roughest time in my life. Because of my upbringing, I had a distorted view of God. I felt He was judgemental and ready to throw condemnation to those who were not living by His standards. I constantly felt ashamed, unworthy and I didnt feel I would ever measure up. But Pastor Cam brought new Light into my life about Christ. Cam showed in the bible that Christ did not come to condemn, His position is to love us just as we are. He is patient, full of mercy, and forgiving. God is for us and never against us no matter what! I cant even tell you how this motivated me to get involved at church and to become a better person. I seen all of the ministries the church offered to help those in need in our community and around the world and was excited to be a part of this! I thank God for opening my eyes through this church and their unconditional love for people from all walks in life. It thrills me to see my children having compassion for people instead of judging. At a confernce with my oldest daughters teachers they told me how refreshing it was to have a student who demonstrates faith, encouragement and love for troubled students. My kids look for opportunity to help others less fortunate and I owe it all to SCC for teaching them to love others like Christ has loved us. I am very grateful for the many ways SCC has been there for me and my family but I am most grateful for them leading me into a deep, personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ!
