Hutchinson Island Terminal is located on the Savannah River just across from downtown Savannah, Georgia and is the current "home" for the barge/tug boat operation. The logistics and operations offices occupy a 2 1/2 acre tract that are lighted and fenced for staging of all barging operations. Our Tug, named "Clean Sweep" is a 96 gross ton push type tug. The dimensions are 57.2" length, 22.2' width and 8.2' depth, powered by twin turbo Caterpiller diesel engines, with a total of 700 horsepower. The barge currently runs between Hutchinson Island and Daufuskie Island servicing Haig Point and Daufuskie Island Club on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Our Barge is 150 Feet by 50 Feet with a Large Cargo Loading Ramp. "Clean Sweep" is available for barging operations throughout Georgia & South Carolina.
