I asked her to "clean up" my gair, and that i wanted keep the length... What took me 5 months to grow out was chopped off in less than a minute. I had to stop her mid cut and leave before i lost my temper. This place sucks!

Do not ever ever ever go to this salon or at least to my "stylist" angel. I made an appointment with her for a consultation. I had some partial highlights I didn't like because they were a little uneven in color and brassy but totally fixable. She reassured me that she can put in some light brown highlights to blend it all together and won't damage my hair. I trusted her do we proceeded. She put my foils in put me under a dryer and sat down to read a book. RUDE. She only checked my foils once and when she started rinsing my hair and putting toner in my scalp was on FIRE! I was literally trying not to cry it hurt so badly and she said its because its oxidizing. No, I had highlights before and never felt that way. She then asked me if I've been blonde before, at this point I asked to see a mirror as I didn't want anything near blonde. O.m.G I looked in the mirror and I wanted to cry my hair went from thick and healthy to stringy plastic. I touched it and pieces were literally melting into my hand. It was WHITE. Not even blonde but white. It was stretching for miles and then snapping in my hand. She told me this is normal!!! At this point I was done being nice to this woman because she was treating me like I'm s idiot with no clue. It is NOT normal my hair turned into a rubber band. She walked away without an apology so I walked away without payment. Went straight to Sally's got dome scissors and chopped s good 5 inches off. I put in a protein treatment which helped a lot but I can still barely touch it or it'll snap. It looks horribleeeee. I will be writing this on every review site so customers will be aware. This is a shame of an aveda salon. Stay away!!!

I searched for salon in Savannah areas and Riitz Salon was one of them. Luckily, I selected this Salon first, read all positive reviews and decided to call for appointment. Dawn was the person who I was set up to get my hair done and I was pretty nervous to get my hair done with someone new. She gave me the best hair cut and highlighting, I am soo.. happy !! She is very knowledgeable, great personality and very pleasant to talk to. While I was there, I had manicure and pedicure done by Cookie. Oh my God.. !! It was like in heaven. While your feet are soaked in the small whirlpool, your back is being massaged by the massaging chair the entire time. Cookie also gave a great manicure, very precisely done (French manicure). On top of everything, I was sitting next to Mr. James, the Salon owner. He took a little break treating himself on the massage chair and we had a great conversation. Because of all of the positive reviews about his work, it gave me the reason to chose the "Riitz Salon". Everybody in this salon has many years of experience. If you are looking for experienced and matured stylists, "Riitz Salon" is the place to be. You will be very happy with them.

James is great! He's been cutting my hair for years and he is always up for the challenge. I never keep the exact same hairstyle for more than a few months! And the Riitz is in a great location with plenty of free parking- much easier than the downtown salons.

James is awesome!!! He has been doing my hair for the last 7 years and I refuse to use anyone else! He is excellent with color I get a lot of compliments. I highly recommend this salon.

JAMES IS THE BEST!!!! I had a hair dresser really mess up the highlights in my hair and I went to James at the Riitz. He did an amazing job with the color and cut- and the price was really good. I will never go anywhere else. I would recommend him to anyone- male or female.

I was on business trip in Savannah and I visited Riitz Salon. I had the best hair cut of my life! Natalya was very professional. She is very friendly and service was great! I will definitely be back. I highly recommend Natalya to everybody.
