We are a non-profit animal welfare agency serving Savannah and surrounding counties for over 40 years. We have adoption day at Petsmart every Saturday from 11-3. We sell low cost spay/neuter vouchers to the public and have a pet placement program open to the public assisting in placing found strays or their personal pets. We also have foster animals in our foster care available for adoption. Most animals in foster care are rescued from our local animal control. We also offer educational materials for new pet owners or people having difficult pet issues that need some further assistance. Please check out our website for additional information.

I've adopted two dogs from Save-A-Life. The first was a black Shih Tzu. Little Miss was the sweetest dog in the world. The agency paid for her bladder stone removal surgery before she was put up for adoption. I had her six years before she died of old age.

The second is a Japanese Chin, who I named Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is as sweet as Little Miss and so smart I m thinking of enrolling him in the local college (grin). Save-A-Life took care of his heart worm treatment, and saved his life.

I have great respect for the agency and its volunteers. If I ever get another dog, it will be from Save-A-Life.
