Provided by YP.comI avoided this place due to bad reviews. I ended up driving all over town sick as could be only to end up back here. The reason, they are the only urgent care on the islands that takes insurance and has X-ray. I was very pleased with my service. They did a thorough and excellent job. I even went back for more support and they didn't charge me for the second visit.

Provided by YP.comDon't go here if you have other options! Every time I have went here I have spent the next 6 to 8 months trying to fix billing issues. The manager even told me they have had lots of billing problems. One time I should have owed $110 and they come back and said I owed another $25 more (for what?!). Another time my $110 visit they tried to charge me over $800 for and took tons of phone calls and hours to get fixed. Last time they told me their referral scan would be covered under my co-pay (like a umbrella that all services would fall under it). I ask several people there since I couldn't afford more charges. They all assured me I would only be responsible for my copay. Well now I have about $1000 in extra bills to pay and they are denying they ever told me it would fall under the copay. I have spent another 7 months trying to get this fixed and they have pretty much screwed me. Good luck if you go here! Apparently they are clueless and continuously bill insurance and their patients incorrectly. Their care is ok. They did send me for a expensive scan when a simple ultrasound would have been better.

Provided by YP.comI was unfortunate enough to choose to return to Southern Urgent Care last Tuesday, September 29th due to an open wound I incurred during a minor household accident. I waited a long time to be seen but when the doctor finally came to see me, he said my wound was "borderline for stitches". He decided not to use stitches but glued the wound together and put 2 strips on, telling me to wait until the strips fell off, in about a week. The strips came off today and the wound is still open and looks terrible. I went back and waited more than an hour for "follow up wound care" which consisted of the tech saying it didn't look infected, there would be a "small" scar, and she would recommend leaving it to the open air and not doing anything except putting some Benadryl lotion around it for the itching. This is ridiculous. I could have done this amount of "healing" with Neosporin and a Band-Aid. Instead, I had to pay a $100 copayment and waste several hours for crap treatment.
