The owners of Unwind Yarn & Gifts have created a cosy, friendly environment for knitters and crocheters of all skill levels to meet, attend classes, and shop. The store offers a wide and well-stocked variety of yarns of all weights, fiber contents, and price points, as well as a well-stocked cabinet full of straight, circular, and double point knitting needles and crochet hooks, accessories, books, magazines, booklets, and cute gifts (how about a sheepy umbrella or tape measure?). Comfy sofas and chairs invite visitors to relax, knit/crochet, and share ideas. The shop is located in a small shopping center south of the historic district with plenty of free parking and close to the Oglethorpe Mall.
