I had two daughters that went to Christine Rich Studio. The longest was for 13 years. They had the opportunity to take tap, jazz, Irish, hip-hop, acrobatics, ballet, pointe, acting, and modern. I cannot emphasize enough how beneficial it was for them. My oldest daughter, Alexis, just completed her first year at the Joffrey Ballet School as part of the Ballet Trainee program. She found her cross-training she received at Christine Rich Studio helped her in any type of dance class she took while in New York City. I would hands-down choose CRS again due to the professionalism of Christine Rich, the dance instructors, and the dance versatility. It is through this experience that made my daughter want to pursue her dream of a professional dance career and she feels well prepared because of the training she received at CRS.

The teacher is not that good with little kids. Dont know how she is with the older ones. She is also not that good with talking to the parents. I've given a try to Art In Motion and found a completly different approach for the younger kids and the families. much nicer place. I also liked the fact I was able to see the kids while in class. At Christine - it was not allowed - and I didnt like it at all.

Last week I brought my 3 years daughter to class. The road was under constructions which made arrive 2 minutes BEFORE class started.The manager did not let me get in!!! my daughter started to cry and was so disappointed but still - she told me this is her rules, and apparently I don't feet in her class, and maybe I should start looking for a place with less restrictions!!! Save yourself the money. I heard much better things about the place in west Champaign.

This is the worst dance school ever.The owner is very mean and impudent. Condescence oozes from every word that she speaks. It galled me when she suggested that I enroll my kid in another school citing some ridiculous excuses. The only reason I am continuing to send my kid to this school is because I pre-paid for classes. I would definitely not recommend this school to anyone.

Just fabulous and worth every penny. I just love this dance studio. We had to move for 6 months and I promise you we missed Christine Rich Studio the most. We are back in town now and my 3 girls are soooooo happy. We couldn't find dance instruction even close when we moved out of state. Either they didn't offer all that CRS has or it cost more. One of my girls just likes hip hop. Another loves ballet. and the third does ballet, acrobatics, jazz, tap, stretch, Irish, strength. They all can be happy under one roof. Oh and I love the building. It's full of art and CLEAN. In the other state all the studios were dusty and had grime. You can't go wrong with the Christine Rich Studio and you can only go right!

I have nothing but high praise for Christine Rich Dance Studio. We're a second generation family with Christine and she has such concern for every child. I don't know how she does it but treats them all the same--with respect and care and all the time.For an after school activity you want the best for your child and I just appreciate that my daughter and son are getting not only great dance (like I did) but the whole place is positive and safe. And love those recitals! Gorgeous! CRS is just an excellent business. You'll be in excellent hands.
