Provided by YP.comNot a happy camper. After two visits and being pleased with my cut, I decided to have highlights. I was very clear that I wanted subtle not shocking highlights. My hair processed super fast and it was way too much color and way too bright. The gal put a toner on it which helped some. I went home, looked at it, washed and styled it the next AM and made the decision it was still too much, too bright. I called to let them know, got the answering machine so I left a very clear message, very kind just explaining this wasn't going to work. Several days later (it was the weekend) I got a pleasant call back asking me what was wrong and ensuring me that they'll fix it and wanted me to be happy, and scheduled an appointment to redo the color. The day of my appointment my stylist called and immediately I could sense the tension. She wanted to know what was wrong because when I left it seemed I liked it. I proceeded to explain it was hard to tell in the shop, I needed to see it in natural light and look it over at home and that was when I decided I didn't like it. She was curt with me and proceed to say everyone thought it looked just fine...?? and that if I wanted anything else done to it, I'd have to pay for it! Because I had left the shop. I was dumbfounded. I then spoke with the owner. I am a 50 something old woman who has seen professional hair dressers my whole life, had color and highlights many times and I have NEVER been spoken to like I was by this owner. I was shocked. There's too much to write here but she said I should consider changing my foundation/bronzer if I didn't like the way my complexion looked with this hair color and that I just might have to go somewhere else to get my color done! I finally got her to agree to do a corrective color w/o charge. But she said they couldn't keep on coloring my hair if I wasn't going to like it. ?? what? I did go in and there was tension in the air, the owner saw I was there and never said a word to me. I will not return. I can't believe how they treated me like it was my fault I didn't like the turn out. I couldn't have been more understanding and kind.
