Mary-Anne at this office, who answered my call, is very rude, compared to the 3 other dental offices I called today. Instead of putting me on hold, I heard her shout across the room to speak to her associate, multiple times. When I politely asked her to continue her other conversation after completing my call, she quickly (and defensively) interrupted with "I'm trying to answer your questions intelligently." Perhaps a hold, or a call back once you've received confirmation may have been less disruptive and respectful. She continued to speak to me with a tone that was unfriendly, offensive and belittling. For example, "I have been working with (them) for 40 years..." does not help me understand anything more about what I was asking. And it's not about you. I feel she clearly still doesn't understand professional customer service and personal etiquette, after 40 years. I'm looking for a dental office with patient and kind personnel who create a positive, healthy, and caring atmosphere while I prepare for the most excruciating dental procedure. I don't want a single doubt in my mind about it. I believe you provide a specialized service with great standards which should be encouraged and celebrated, not devalued by disrespectful assistants who provide poor customer service.
