It is a part of The Eddy, which was founded in 1928 as a 15-plus-bed nursing home in New York. The Eddy is a comprehensive continuum of health care, supportive housing and community services that serves more than 30,000 people yearly. It is a part of Northeast Health, which is a nonprofit network that was formed in 1995 by the merger of Samaritan Hospital and The Eddy.
