At Paul Mitchell the school Schenectady we pride ourselves in delivering excellent education. We service thousands of guests a year and we are always willing to work with our clients to get to their desired results!

This is a beautiful facility and highly organized. My student samara is very good and professional. I would recommend having services done by her and at the school.

I was asked if I wanted to leave a review by an employee and it made me think, I have been going there for years and never wrote anything on the internet! I look here and see these disgruntled people kinda worry-some however I have always had an excellent experience! 5+ years running!!!

Firstly, I would like to say the student was very nice, and I do not feel she is to blame for my disastrous experience. The instructor, who called her self Beyoncé on the other hand was rude and by rushing my student I have left with a blond Bob haircut, everything I asked not to have. The instructor came up to me and said you may not have time for a cut, after the student had already done a ruff dry cut at the beginning of the session per direction of the shorter white haired instructor. "Beyoncé" also kept counting down the students time. I asked to be darker on top, but due to the time count down they stopped putting the color that took 30 minutes to process on top and put all blond foils. The instructor gave her 25 minutes to cut my hair (wet) which resulted in a 5 Inch shorter than I wanted cut. If there was going to be a time clock the first instructor (short white haired woman) who listened to my consultation should NOT have told the student to ruff dry cut my hair! When I returned home, and was putting my shirt in the laundry, I discovered that the back had bleach stains all over it.

Stick to the professionals. Its not worth it. I asked for darker, now my hair is blonder than when i went in. Also, my shirt got covered in bleach. The instructor, who called herself Beyonce, told me there wouldnt be time to finish my cut. Then told the student she had 8 minutes, after the first cut it was too late, my hair was about 5 inches shorter than i requested.
