I just bought a new truck and wanted to have it towed because i couldn't put it on the road legally yet. So, I researched and compared the local Schenectady towing companies. The following is the results.

Red Bear Repair = $59.40 flat rate (tax included)



L & A Automotive Center = $81.00 flat rate (tax included)



Holmes & Kuglers Towing = 81.00 flat rate (tax included)



Tooley's Towing = $60.00-$75.00 flat rate (tax included)



Liggetts Auto & Towing Service = $95.00 to $100.00 flat rate + tax



Kinetic Towing = $75 hookup fee + $4.25 per mile + tax



So, judging by the price and doing business with the company previously, I went with Red Bear Repair. Great company. Can't praise them enough.



My advice: Call Red Bear Repair for towing needs FIRST before calling ANYONE else.

My car broke down when I was at the bank and I called to have my car towed since it wouldn't start. The nice driver came to pick me up and asked what was wrong. When I told him it just died, he looked at it and was able to fix my loose battery connection. I didn't have to be without my car, and was able to get back home to my invalid husband. I work for a major package carry and stared using Red Bear Repair for my PM���s. They are fast, friendly and call if they find any problems with your truck during the PM. If they find any problems they get your approval before fixing them. I highly recommend them.
