The good-affordable rent! Less than $800 a month with heat & hot water included. Very safe, quiet neighborhood. Great location near the heart of upper union street & close to Mohawk commons and 890. Well maintained lawn & snow removal. Maintenance (2 men who live in the apt complex) are quick to respond to requests. The bad- very old apartments with terrible drains that are constantly getting clogged. Old fashioned tiled bathroom either bright blue or bright pink reminiscent of a middle school bathroom. Management can be difficult to get on touch with & tends to not return calls. Charges fees if the apartment is not in IMMACULATE shape after you move out. Make sure you clean oven and fridge as well as every other part of the apartment.Overall, nice apartment for the price.

Bad experience with the leasing manager. Not professional. Doesn't return calls .Selective with future tenants. Gives false information on unit vacancies. Practices steering.

I have lived here for the past 15 years and I really enjoy it. I have lived in other complexes in the past and they all have their issues ( none are perfect) but its quiet, the residents and staff are pleasant. You wont find a nicer place to live for the price.

My 74 year old father lives there. He has fallen four times this winter on ice outside his apartment because the walk ways were not salted. He has gone three months with no hot water. The office manager is aware of both of these and he still has little to no hot water. If anyone has any idea how to reach the owners of this complex please let me know.No one on site is willing to helping us :(

I love it here, a very quiet and peaceful place. Everyone looks out for each other.

i lived there for 3 years as a single late 20's female and i found it to be quite peaceful and the retired tenants were very pleasant and friendly to me. maintenance was a little slow and sloppy but he got the job done. i do remember my neighbor having to wait a VERY long time to get important things fixed in her appt though. and the walls are paper thin so you can't do much in the way of music or company. the office manager was never present and always terse and seemed more interested in getting that rent check than in getting back you about your issues with the apartment. i feel very sorry for the people who have no choice but to put up with it.

Do not waste your time and money living here. Maintenance is irresponsible - you have to make several requests before they fix anything. In one instance I waited 3 months before they finally fixed my bathroom sink. They do not have snow removal service on weekends because the owners do not want to pay maintenance overtime. That means you are snowed in all weekend. The apartments are 500 square feet - way too small for even one person. They charge you more for a 2 bedroom even though it is the same square footage as a one bedroom. They advertise on websites that cater to seniors, yet they could care less about the seniors that live there!!!
