I highly recommend The Spine Institute of Schererville for your chiropractic needs. I did not know what to expect when I first came to the Spine Institute. With no feeling in my foot, I was unable to walk any distance without my crutches, using my wheelchair many days. My constant pain immobilized me to the point that I just existed. I was skeptical on my first visit, as I have been too many doctors with no results. Meeting Dr. Stewart and his staff for the first time put me at ease with their friendliness and true caring nature. After a few visits, I had feeling back in my foot again and the pain level had decreased considerably. Dr. Stewarts determination and belief in healing has made me whole again. I highly recommend Dr. Stewart and his team of “angels” for your chiropractic needs.

When Bob and Joan Hamnik firmly recommended Dr. Stewart, I decided to have my husband give him a try. I was very satisfied with my 25 plus years of chiropractic care and wasn't about to let any other chiropractor touch this body. Years of spinal nerve damage took a careful and experienced touch that I wasn’t about to chance to someone else. After about six treatments my husband, who'd fallen and hurt his back, woke up one morning and said, "I slept all night!" Not only was his back feeling great but his torn rotator cuff pain that had awakened him every night for the past six years was gone! That's when I decided to give Dr. Stewart a try. All I can say is, I've never regretted it. Not only does he do a great job, there's none of that crunching and cracking; the technique every other chiropractor I'd gone to had used. You probably will question the validity of his techniques because it doesn't seem possible that something so simple to endure could be effective...I know I did...but he won me over and I think he will win you over too. He uses totally up to date methods. He's honest, effective and prompt. What more could you ask for!

I was struck by a bulging disc and visited the ER twice in a week. The first visit I was given a Toridol shot and pain killer prescription, the second visit Prednisone shot and prednisone prescription. These were not helping me at all and my friend, Jane, told me about Dr. Joseph Stewart at the Spine Institute of Schererville. I am 64 years old and have never been to a chiropractor, so naturally I am thinking that this will not be the answer either, only to find that I was wrong. The office is friendly, welcoming and competent. Dr. Stewart treated me with Cold Laser and Decompression machine for about a month now and I am 95% improvement and getting better every day. Dr. Stewart was recommended by our friends, both of whom achieved great results so my husband, who'd tried another chiropractor without success, decided to give him a chance. Dr. Stewart's techniques were totally new and most effective. Since my husband got such fantastic results, feeling better than he had in years, I decided to go to him also.
