We've only been with this place since April, and so far everything has been great. The only thing I wish they offered is to be able to see what's going on online without having to physically go there to watch the TV in the office. I hope they continue the great customer service as our son grows and continues in each room.

My 3 yr old has attended there for 1.5 years and the 1 yr old since birth, and while I understand some of the past negative comments on here about a certain former employee could cause concern, she is gone now and the daycare as a whole is much better now. The new front staff is great and the teachers are awesome. My 3yr old never wants to leave in the afternoon and my 1 yr old can’t wait to see his teacher in the morning. The infant teachers are fantastic too. I would highly recommend this daycare.

MY POV

I'm working there now. I know where the unhappy parents are coming from. As employees, we're not all happy. It's hard to show our love to the kids through education and care when the admin staff criticizes our every move. We want more toys in the classroom but its hard when admin doesn't provide us with toys and we have to buy our own AND we DO NOT get reimbursed for it. As for calling parents all the time to get your child, yes it may be annoying and we do feel bad you have to get out of work for it but we have 10+ children to worry about that can contact that immediately. If you have worked at a daycare, you know how FAST a virus can spread! We as teachers also get sick from it and we miss work and we don't get paid for missing work. And as for not being informed about certain things or finding out too late, its so frustrating! MOST times the front office won't even relay messages to us that parents leave in the front office. We don't get notified if we're getting a new student, so us teachers look like the unprofessional ones for not being prepared for your child. As for the parents, if you have a complaint about the class or teacher or some issue.... TELL THE TEACHER!!! We are the ones in the classroom with the child, we are the ones that see what happens. It is VERY RARE to see a front office admin in the classroom, and when they actually are in the classroom...they are desperate to get out cause they can't handle the "crazy children" (heard that many times). So let us teachers know, complain and compliment to us! Because if you go to the front office... they will scold us like kids and then that ruins our relationship with the front cause we alllll know how Michelle's 'professionalism' is.. which will lead us to hating our job and wanting to quit. and seeing yet another teacher in the classroom. Parents need to understand that yes, you are the parent but we are teachers that take care of 10+ children M-F with different family backgrounds and we have to make sure that your child is talked to the way you do, changed the way you liked, fed the way you feed them, nurtured like you nurture... now multiply that by 12 more kids! So if your child goes home with a poopy diaper, dont complain...we try so damn hard! if its multiple times after another, yes thats another story but one time isn't an issue. I love working with kids. I love sharing stories to parents about them. I love to see them grow day by day, even to see them share without me saying anything brings a smile to my face.. But understand, we're human too and most of us aren't parents.. we dont understand everything but we try to handle anything the best way we can without walking out! as for the different employees, we all get paid less than $9.00/hr... so do you think we do this for the fortune??? NO. We do it cause we love your kids. GIVE US A BREAK.

If I could rate this center less I would. The turnover rate is horrible...how are the children supposed to have consistency if they are constantly getting different teachers (of course I wouldn't be surprised if that is because of the front office....Michelle needs to learn to talk to people in a more professional manner...she's on a power trip and tries to intimidate people...Rhonda better wise up). Also the selection of toys are very disappointing, some classes have more than other and some of the toys are of poor quality. I can say that there are some teachers who work there that do care about the children and others I wondered were just pulled off the street. I do enjoy seeing all of the art in the hallways. I'm sure this place has the potential to be an exceptional center, if the effort would be made. I've seen worse centers and I've seen WAY better!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CENTER!! The center is very clean, the care that my children have received there is A+ & my children have learned so much! When I read these other reviews from “concerned parents,” it saddens me that they are only trying to hurt the daycare’s reputation because they did not get their way when asking the daycare to break a rule. People are so quick to write a negative review, but don’t take the time to write a good review. So please read this entire review. The teachers are caring to my kids’ needs and even mine – I feel like they are a 2nd family to us because they really do love my kids as if they were their own. The other parents that I have met through the daycare feel the same. And my kids have learned so much there! The teachers do a lot of activities with the kids. There is something fun always planned, they even teach my kids about the actual meanings of each holiday instead of just celebrating them. My biggest compliment about the daycare that has helped me A LOT is that the teachers have taught my kids social skills – teaching them from table manners & how to “properly” speak to adults & classmates to how to handle themselves when they get angry.

Now back to those other reviews -- I hope that these parents that have written these negative reviews are no longer at this daycare for these reasons: I do not want my kids at a daycare with parents that are always asking the daycare to break the rules for them & let their sick kids come into the classroom with mine & then take the risk of mine getting sick. And if you have a daycare management that allow the parents to constantly break rules, then what’s the use of asking the rest of us parents to follow policies? Where’s the structure then? Their rules, like any other business or school, are in place for the safety, well being and learning of your child! I admire the management at this daycare for a few of the “stupid” parents that they have to deal with. If you don’t understand a center rule or state regulation, be mature & professional, ask to have a conference with your kid's teacher/management to have it explained to you. Don't get mad because you did not get your way & act like a fool in front of your child or other people's children & then accuse the teacher/manager of being rude - that doesn't teach our children correctly how to handle ourselves as adults. I deal with immature customers in my job everyday, too - customers want it their way or they get mad & turn the conversation around stating that you were being unprofessional. The sad part about that, you wonder if their kids are going to grow up to be the same way. And has one of my kids’ teachers here at this daycare made a judgment call error with one of my kids? Yes. Have I as a parent made a judgment call error with one of my kids? Yes. We are human, we are all going to make mistakes. It is when a daycare constantly makes mistakes with the care or safety of my kids & teachers/management don’t do anything about it, but this is NOT the case for this daycare. And in the past, there have been some teachers not as good as others at this daycare, but that has been at other daycares that we have been at, too. So if you are shopping for a good daycare center, do your research, go visit the daycares for yourself, you will see what I am talking about in the beginning of my review – this daycare is by far the better one in the area. Get your own opinion (on daycares or any businesses that you reading reviews on), like I did. I hope that information was helpful to you.

I would warn off anyone thinking of sending their children to this daycare. My child went there for a little over a year. The teachers for the most part are quality in certain rooms, if you have a 2 year old forget it. You pay almost $800 a month for no toys and no activity. The teacher in that classroom made her own scensory toys because she is a sweetheart, but the front office never gave her much money to improve the classroom as promised. Their pitch is they have a fabulous curriculum, which is just not true.Michelle is a terrible front office manager and Rhonda the owner is no better, she allows Michelle to run teachers and parents off constantly. To me a very poor representation of a women business owner.Michelle the front office manager talks down to parents and teachers and has some sort of power trip, its pathetic! Please consider any other daycares besides this one, for the money it is just not worth it!!!

My son attends for before and after school care. We have used another daycare in Cibolo for this service, but he complained about being bullied by other kids and the staff was inattentive. BFLC is close to home and my son enjoys his time there. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the classrooms are clean.

I just report this child care ...

I just report this child care facility to the state because on unethical business practices. They are a joke. We were there 8 months, and rarely a week went by that we were not called to pick up our child. we would take him to the doctor immediately, and the doctor would look at us like we were crazy. They also refused to take our child after 9am. Saying it was in the handbook. Even though we paid for the WEEK. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU CAN"T PICK YOUR KID UP EVERY OTHER WEEK.

I was very unimpressed with this daycare. As parents we feel it is our duty to explain our feelings to others. Without giving all the many details as how we as parents feel this way, I can sum it up very simply. The Assistant Director is disrespectful and rude. Another profession would suite her. The staff seems to not know what is going on. Turnover rate seems to be very frequent. Curriculum for my child’s age seems very sloppy. Structure and positive discipline seem to be lacking. This is just a very small portion of what I choose to write. Unfortunately this review is based off just visiting the facility on multiple occasions and conversations with staff, but with my child’s best interest in mind we passed. I understand to those reading this review it may not have a lot of merit as we were not clients; however I also urge you to see this review was written by someone that was a potential client that truly cares. As parents please make sure you completely evaluate daycares. They may look good on the outside but…
