The salon was clean and the desk person was helpful. My stylist was okay, she listened to what I wanted generally but my bangs are not at all what I wanted and I don't know what to do with them now. It's obvious she's been doing this for a while but maybe hasn't updated her techniques. She was very nice and friendly though. I did have to endure a story from another stylist that turned my stomach and there was a lot of salon bashing. Fine for the break room but not the floor of a professional salon with customers in chairs. As for price, I did not ask how much it would cost for a haircut/style before I sat down so it's my own fault. I went to pay and was given a price of $45. Now, I don't know what the going rate is for a haircut around here at privately owned salons (in my experience I was expecting around $30), AND I would have had no problem payng $45 if the job had been done better. But this haircut is not worth $45 plus a tip. I feel like I could have gotten the same work at any strip mall chain store. When I asked about prices for color, the answer was kind of shady. I wasn't given a definitive price and the range spanned about $50. I think I'll probably move on.
