Established in 1882, Knights of Columbus is one of the world's largest catholic family fraternal service organizations. Based in Schertz, Texas, it renders financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are also offered to sick, disabled and needy members as well as their families. Some of its program activities include church activities, community activities, council activities, family activities, pro-life programs and initiatives and youth activities. Knights of Columbus holds charitable partnerships with Special Olympics, the Global Wheelchair Mission and Habitat for Humanity.
