As trained medical professionals, our dedication to maintaining a safe environment through rigorous infection control procedures is at our core. We know that moving forward our commitment to your safety will be even more important. While continuing to meet traditional CDC and OSHA requirements, we are adopting some new, additional protocols. For example, we might wear additional PPE, request you wear a mask to your appointment, or take your temperature upon arrival. We may also ask you to wash your hands, request you wait in a treatment room or your vehicle instead of the waiting room, or request that you call in payment after your appointment. Kyu M. Yo, DMD is your go-to practice for comfortable, caring dental treatment. For questions about what we can do for you or to schedule an appointment, call our office at (210) 251-4979.

The whole experience was great and everyone made it very easy to get in and out for a lunch time check up. From the friendly young ladies in the front that helped me with all the forms and made that very quick, the surprisingly fast cleaning and finally the exam with Dr P. Even though she told me I have a cavity I will be returning in the future!

Won't go back here

I've been here twice. The first appt was OK. I needed a tooth pulled and the dentist was nice enough. The second appt was awful. The hygentist was rude, condescending and the worst part was my mouth hurt for 48 hours after the cleaning! In all of my years of cleanings I have never had a painful cleaning. I told her during the cleaning that she was going too hard but she said she had to in order to get my teeth clean. Looking back I would have told her to just stop the cleaning. I have a rare dental condition which I marked on my chart and told her about. She said she'd seen it before (I thought she was lying because I knew the dentists in her office didn't). Come to find out after she lectured me for the entire appt about taking care of my teeth better she didn't even know which condition I had. She told the dentist I had something else. Very unprofessional. I have been a fitness trainer for over a decade and I would never lecture my client throughout their session with me. Making someone feel bad about what they know they need to do better on doesn't help them. So basically our family will be looking for another dental office. Too bad, the office staff and dentists seemed nice.

These people can't take a Blood Preasure. After banging the Panorex on my shoulders, the young lady tried to take my Blood Pressure on my forearm???? By then I am anxious and they get 180/80. It doesn't even sound right??? Tell me to see my doc and get permission for Dental!!! We just moved here, both retired.

I went home and took my BP, !36 over 80, and it got lower as usual. I then purchased a new BP device at Walmart. My BP was 124/73 at Walmart, got home and it was 127/71.

They do not train their people, I wonder about the Dentists! Don't go here!

My husband had an appointment scheduled for 5:20 pm. We received an email confirming the appointment date and time we also received a post card in the mail with the same date and time. On the day of the appointment, both my husband and I receive a text from the dentist office saying the appointment was at 4:00 pm. I called to see why the time difference and the woman said it was because we didn't confirm the appointment. She said if we don't confirm, the appointment gets bumped. I was under the impression that calling and setting up the appointment was confirmation enough. Then she asks if my husband can make it at 4:30, i told her he can't. She said fine he can have his original appointment time. Then said next time he needs to confirm the appointment. I asked how they contacted my husband to ask for confirmation. She said they sent an email and a text to him. I am confused as to why they did not send me a text to confirm yet they sent an appointment reminder to my phone. When my husband arrived to the appointment they turned him away saying his insurance changed and they could not run insurance after 5pm and would need to reschedule for 2 weeks out because they have to run the insurance at least 2 weeks before the appointment date. That makes no sense! We changed insurance back in September and IF they ran insurance 2 weeks prior to the appointment, they would have known our ins changed and could have asked for the updated info. Why was this not mentioned when I called about the appointment time? Another thing, if his appt was scheduled for after 5 pm , how were they going to run ANY insurance if they claim they don't run it after 5pm. A bunch of BS. Too bad for them, they lost out on a pocket full of cash. Found a new dentist. Try Dual Arc, they are a fraction of the cost for major dental work and they are super nice.

Here's the scoop. The dentist is decent. But they will bait and switch you on the price of the services and then offer you a credit card. That is entirely dishonest and doesn't make for loyal customers.
